Manchester City took the lead in the English Premier League, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference, after defeating its host Burnley 1-0, which dropped from the English Premier League to the Champions League yesterday, Wednesday.
City raised its score to 70 points, with a goal difference over Arsenal, which plays Newcastle next Saturday in Round 34, noting that Spanish coach Pep Guardiola’s team has a postponed match from Round 31 with Crystal Palace, which it will play next May 22, before the final round.

Burnley bid farewell to the top flight after one season of promotion, after finishing second in the second tier of the “Championship” last season.
