Manchester City took the lead in the English Premier League, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference, after defeating its host Burnley 1-0, which dropped from the English Premier League to the Champions League yesterday, Wednesday.

City raised its score to 70 points, with a goal difference over Arsenal, which plays Newcastle next Saturday in Round 34, noting that Spanish coach Pep Guardiola’s team has a postponed match from Round 31 with Crystal Palace, which it will play next May 22, before the final round.

In a match with exchanged goals, Bournemouth, aspiring for a European seat, tied with its guest, Leeds United, seeking to ensure survival 2-2.

Elie Junior Crupi scored the goal to put Bournemouth ahead (60th), and James Hill equalized for Leeds with an own goal (68th), before Brazilian substitute Ryan (86th) scored the second for Bournemouth, but substitute Shan Longstaff equalized in the final seconds (90+7).

Bournemouth raised its score to 49 points, compared to 40 points for Leeds.
