A man in his 60s is suspected of multiple rapes.

The case was opened in September 2025, but it was only on Tuesday morning that the man was arrested. According to Aftonbladet’s information, the suspect is a police officer. The same information states that the man’s residence was raided early in the morning. He had then been arrested in his absence before.
The suspicions concern, among other things, three cases of rape, which must have been committed between 2023 and 2025. The whole thing is being investigated by special prosecutors’ chambers that handle suspicions against police officers, politicians and other special officials.
