Pontus Bjernekull Mörner’s joke aroused strong reactions

The reason is a criticized joke that comedian Pontus Bjernekull Mörner made.
– I stand here and wave a balloon like the disabled section at Melodifestivalen, he said.
The feature in Musikhjälpen, which was broadcast on SVT 24, was reported to the review board on the grounds that the reporter joked inappropriately at the expense of people with disabilities.
The media authority writes in a press release that the feature is being dropped because it goes against the provision on television’s special impact.
