Alexander Isak played a prank on his attacking colleague Taha Ali.
It eased the subdued mood that has followed the national team since the last World Cup loss.
– Everyone pulled a smile when Ali got a little pressured, says Linn Nordström in the latest episode of Inside Blågult.
When Taha Ali is standing in the mixed zone after practice, his phone suddenly rings. The Swedish national team player became somewhat stressed while he hurriedly tried to turn off the ringer.
– It seems popular that the other players call them to check if they were on mute. Taha Ali didn’t have that, says Nordström in Inside Blågult.
“You don’t want to do a Taha Ali”
Ali’s small mistakes seem to have become an inside joke in the Swedish national team.
– They can come with a water bottle and say “is it okay to put it here? You don’t want to do a Taha Ali”. It’s good that he makes some funny mistakes that become good content for us, says Malin Wahlberg.
