In an exciting match until the last moments, which was decided on penalties, the Libyan Al-Suwaihli Club succeeded in entering the list of winners in the Libyan Premier Football League for the first time in its history, after its victory over Al-Nasr Club at Cairo Stadium, on Saturday.

The curtain came down on the Libyan League competitions with its own system, which relies on 36 teams, before 12 of them qualified for the six-way stage, which was completed with a final match between Al-Suwaihli and Al-Nasr.

After the first half ended in a goalless draw, despite the relative advantage of the Al-Suwaihli club, which did not succeed in converting some chances into goals, the first twenty minutes of the second half saw Al-Suwaihli get a penalty kick after returning to the video assistant referee technique, and Tunisian Ayoub Ayyad converted it into the lead goal in the 65th minute of the match.

In the last minutes of the match, Al-Nasr adjusted the score in the same way through player Yahya Al-Zalitni.
