Barcelona, the leader of the Spanish Football League, faces a strong challenge in order to end the current 2025-2026 season in an ideal manner.
Barcelona needs only 5 points out of a possible 15, regardless of the results of its rival and pursuer, Real Madrid, in order to win the La Liga title for the twenty-ninth time in its history and the second in a row.

Barcelona dreams of achieving 100 points
But Barcelona does not want to be satisfied with that. Rather, it plans to end the season by reaching the 100-point barrier, which is something that can be achieved, but under one condition.
Barcelona currently leads the La Liga table with 85 points, a full 11 points behind its rival Real Madrid. If the Blaugrana wants to reach 100 points, it must win all five of its remaining matches, including the Clásico match against its rival Real Madrid.

- Osasuna – Barcelona (Round 34 at El Sadar Stadium).
- Barcelona – Real Madrid (Round 35 at Spotify Camp Nou).
- Deportivo Alaves – Barcelona (Round 36 at Mendizorroza Stadium).
- Barcelona – Real Betis (Round 37 at Spotify Camp Nou).
- Valencia – Barcelona (38th and final round at Mestalla Stadium).
Any stumble, no matter how slight, would prevent Barcelona from achieving this achievement, which the Catalan club had previously achieved only once.
This goes back to the 2012-2013 season, in which Barcelona finished La Liga under the leadership of its late coach Tito Vilanova with 100 points.

Achievement for Juventus and City
Other than Real Madrid and Barcelona, two teams in the five major European leagues have previously reached the 100-point barrier, and one of them even managed to surpass it.
The other two teams are Juventus of Italy and Manchester City of England, each of which achieved this achievement once.
Juventus
Juventus ended the 2013-2014 season with an amazing achievement in the Italian League after achieving 102 points, an unprecedented number in the old continent, and no team was able to reach it later.
During this season, Juventus, led by coach Antonio Conte, won 33 matches, tied 3 matches, and lost only 2 matches, ending the competition 17 points behind runner-up Roma.
Manchester City
In the 2017-2018 season, Manchester City finished the English Premier League with 100 points, after winning 32 matches and drawing 4 matches, compared to two losses, and the difference at the time was 19 points from Manchester United, which was in second place.
