Danish Jes Torop, coach of Al-Ahly of Egypt, suffered a health problem two days before the decisive round for the Premier League title this season.
Ahmed Jaballah, the team doctor, said in an official Al-Ahly statement on Monday that Torop suffered a sudden health problem, which required him to be transferred to a hospital, where he underwent the necessary medical care under the supervision of the medical team.
Jaballah added that the technical director’s condition is reassuring and he is currently undergoing comprehensive examinations and analyzes for further reassurance.
