A cargo plane has gone missing off a coastal area in Pakistan, according to the country’s civil aviation authority.
A search operation for the plane has begun.
The Boeing cargo plane was seen on radar descending rapidly and changing course before disappearing outside the Pakistani city of Karachi on Tuesday evening.
In connection with the disappearance, the crew reported that they were experiencing problems with the navigation system. Five people are said to have been on the plane bound for the United Arab Emirates.
