Al-Nasr Saudi Club ended the career of Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic with the team, after his contract expired, bringing the curtain down on an experience that has continued since the summer of 2023, during which he was one of the most prominent pillars of the midfield and contributed to achieving the Saudi Roshen League title.
Brozovic joined Al-Nassr from Italian Inter Milan in a deal that received widespread attention, after he established his position as one of the best center players in Europe thanks to his defensive capabilities and pivotal role in building the game.

An impressive imprint in the midst of victory
During two seasons in the “Al-Alamy” jersey, the Croatian international played a prominent role in giving the midfield balance and stability, benefiting from his ability to steal balls and create attacks. He was also one of the main elements in Al-Nasr’s crowning of the Saudi Roshen League title last season, in addition to his contributions in various local and continental competitions.
A career full of achievements
Brozovic (33 years old) is considered one of the most prominent Croatian football stars over the last decade, as he played more than 100 international matches with his country’s national team, and contributed to reaching the World Cup final in 2018, before achieving third place in the World Cup in 2022.
He also won the Italian League title, the Italian Cup twice, and the Italian Super Cup twice with Inter Milan, and reached the Champions League final in 2023, before moving to the Saudi League.
An upcoming new destination
Brozovic has not yet revealed his next destination, but media reports spoke of the interest of a number of European and Turkish clubs in contracting with him, most notably clubs from the Turkish league, with the option of returning to one of the major European leagues remaining, given his long experience and track record.
On the other hand, Al-Nasr Club continues its movements in the transfer market, searching for a foreign midfielder to compensate for the departure of Brozovic, in preparation for the start of the new season.
