Two Palestinians were martyred and others were injured – today, Sunday – as a result of an Israeli drone raid on the Samar area, east of Gaza City, in the besieged Strip.
The Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip said – in a statement – that an Israeli bombing targeted a group of citizens in front of a water filling station in the Samar area, east of Gaza City, resulting in two martyrs and a number of injuries.
A medical source at Baptist Hospital reported the arrival of the bodies of two Palestinians and a number of injured people (without mentioning their number) as a result of the bombing.
In the southern Gaza Strip, two Palestinians were injured in two shooting incidents from the Israeli army. A medical source told Anadolu Agency that a Palestinian was injured as a result of gunfire targeting the tents of displaced persons in the regional park area on the outskirts of the city of Rafah, while another was wounded by Israeli army bullets east of Hamad Town, north of the city of Khan Yunis.

Eyewitnesses also reported to Anadolu that Israeli army vehicles opened heavy fire towards the tents of the displaced in the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah.
Israel has launched repeated raids on the Gaza Strip since reaching a ceasefire in October last year. These raids, targeting, and violations of the ceasefire, as of Saturday, June 27, led to the death of 1,066 Palestinians and the injury of 3,445 others, according to data from the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the Israeli war of annihilation on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 73,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 173,000 injured, in addition to widespread destruction that affected 90% of the infrastructure in the Strip.
