The influencer and cookbook author Nara Smith24, opens up about the difficult situation in a clip on Instagram. She and her husband Lucky Blue Smith28, noticed something suspicious about her daughter late last year and decided to see a doctor.
When the family’s pediatrician examined two-year-old Whimsy Lou, he suddenly became “very quiet and calm” and advised them to take her to the nearest children’s hospital.
– Then my heart sank. I don’t know if it was gut feeling or just a motherly intuition, but the first thing I thought was: She has cancer, says Nara Smith on Instagram.
Started chemotherapy immediately
After X-rays, ultrasound and biopsy, they received the daughter’s cancer diagnosis.
– They also said that the disease had spread and that she needed to come in and start chemotherapy immediately.
She further announces that the family intends to withdraw from the public eye for a while to focus on Whimsy Lou’s care. Nara Smith does not go into what type of cancer it is or how her daughter is doing today.
Nara Smith and Lucky Blue Smith have four children together. The influencer, who has millions of followers on both Instagram and Tiktok, mostly posts content from her life as a housewife.
