This year, the South Korean company Samsung is preparing to unveil a different lineup of products that may be its most crowded and diverse in years, starting with a new design for its foldable phones to compete with Apple’s expected foldable phone, the iPhone Ultra, and even its expected smart glasses, during its next annual conference in July.
The report of the American technical website “Ingadgate” indicates that Samsung intends to unveil several foldable phones this year, in a clear difference from previous years in which it announced only two foldable phones, in addition to other smart products that complement the company’s integrated system.
The report stated that the date of the conference will be next July 22 in the British capital, London, and that it will be broadcast live as usual. However, what will Samsung announce at this conference?
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide phone
During the past years, Samsung has committed to one fixed size for all of its foldable phones in the “Fold” category, as they came with a very thin front screen and a wide internal screen, and the report indicates that the company is changing this trend in the “Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide”.
In the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide phone, Samsung relies on a 7.8-inch internal screen with a 5.4-inch external screen, in addition to the fact that the front screen is wider than in previous years.

The increase in screen width makes the experience of using the front screen closer to the experience of using traditional phones.
The company is also abandoning the triple camera setup on the back of the device, replacing it with a dual camera only. Reports regarding the name and category of the device vary, as some indicate that it is a special version of the Z Fold 8, while other reports indicate that it is the standard version of that phone, according to the Engadget report.
ZFold Ultra
The Engadget report states that Samsung intends to unveil a new category of its foldable phones under the name “Z Fold 8 Ultra,” similar to the “Galaxy S Ultra” phones, so that this model will be the highest in specifications and price.
The phone comes with different specifications than previous devices, as it relies on an internal Snapdragon chip with a 200-megapixel rear camera and 45-watt fast charging.
The phone’s design and specifications mimic what Apple is trying to do with its foldable phone, the “iPhone Ultra,” which the company intends to unveil next September, according to reports.
Galaxy Z Flip 8
The report of the American technical website “BGR” reveals several updates arriving to the “Samsung” foldable phone in the form of a clamshell, as the phone comes this year with a much thinner thickness than previous generations, in addition to its reliance on the leading “Exynos 2600” processor from Samsung.

However, the phone retains the rest of the main specifications as previous generations, with slight improvements to the hinge used in the phone so that it becomes more shock-resistant than previous generations.
Several smart watches
This year, the company is also announcing several new models of its smart watches, according to a report by the Android Police website, which was based on the company’s registration of a group of smart watches with the US Federal Communications and Trade Commission.
The company’s announcement includes the Galaxy Watch 9 in two sizes, either 40 mm or 44 mm, in addition to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

However, the “Ingadgate” report states that the watches this year will not represent a significant difference from previous years, as it is expected that the new watches will come with a design that mimics the previous generation with a “Snapdragon Wear Elite” processor designated for smart watches.
Samsung smart glasses
Reports have increased recently about new Samsung smart glasses designed to confront “Mita” glasses and the like, and the “BGR” website report indicates the company’s intention to announce these new glasses during the upcoming “Galaxy Unpacked” conference.
The specifications of the new glasses are still unknown, as the company revealed the existence of these glasses for the first time at the Google Developers Conference in 2026, which was held several weeks ago.
The new glasses can connect directly to Google’s smart assistant, Gemini, with support for direct voice commands and a speaker directly in the glasses.
