A group of Paraguayan fans lived through a difficult moment while watching their country’s match against Germany in the qualifying rounds of the World Cup finals.

A video clip spread on social media documenting a crazy, difficult moment experienced by the fans, as the match reached the decisive penalty kick.
In one of the cafes, the television screen went silent at the moment when defender Jose Canale stepped forward to take the decisive kick that qualified Paraguay and eliminated Germany from the tournament.
At the height of the penalty shootout drama, in which Paraguay missed two and Germany missed three, while Canali was preparing to take the decisive kick, a message suddenly appeared on the screen in Spanish saying “Automatic Suspension”.
The text of the message blocked the view of the decisive penalty kick being taken, warning viewers that the automatic sleep mode would begin in a few seconds unless it was cancelled, sparking anger and screaming from the fans gathered inside the cafe.
The screen actually turned black at the “worst time” at the time when Kanali shot the ball, causing a state of panic, screaming, and frustration to spread among the spectators, who rushed to check their phones.

Paraguay defeated Germany on penalties 4-3 after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in its original and extra periods.
