The American technical website GamesRadar reports that Microsoft is aware of this crisis based on statements by Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Paul, who confirmed that the demand for Xbox platforms exceeded the number of platforms offered.

Paul added: “We are trying to produce Xbox consoles as quickly as possible,” referring to the expected date for providing more consoles in anticipation of high demand for them by the end of the year.

In a related context, a report by the American technical website “80 Level” revealed that pre-orders for the game “GTA 6” have already begun and are expected to break records in terms of pre-orders.

The report indicates that the rate of pre-order for the game exceeded 50 million copies, breaking records for all games released during the past years, as the game “PUBG” held the title of the most pre-ordered game in history at 30 million copies.

For its part, Rockstar has not yet revealed the final and actual pre-order numbers for the game, and all the numbers currently available are from unofficial sources that do not belong to the company, according to what was stated in the report, and the majority of the pre-order for the game comes from PlayStation platforms.

These expectations are consistent with DFC Intelligence’s market forecast reports, as the company expected the game to achieve more than $1 billion in pre-orders.
