Isabella Löwengrip and Paul Sundvik separate after six years together.

Isabella Löwengrip and Paul Sundvik have suddenly separated after six years together.

There have been rumors of separation, which they have denied. At the same time, they have lived apart.

– Paul has been torn between the life he wants and the life he has here, Isabella Löwengrip recently told Aftonbladet.

On Tuesday, the influencer and entrepreneur revealed Isabella Löwengrip35, on social media that she is separating from her fiance Paul Sundvik, 58.

“We have chosen to go our separate ways and it is a joint decision. We have great respect for each other and are grateful for the time we had together. Therefore, we also hope that we can continue with the same respect from those around us,” writes Löwengrip in the post and continues:

“With regard to children and our relatives, we will not comment on the separation more than this. We hope you can understand and respect it. Thank you for showing concern and understanding,” she concludes.

Supportive comments

At the time of writing, hundreds of people have commented on the post with supportive comments and heart emojis, such as Bianca Ingrosso, presenter Carolina Gynning and Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson.

Isabella Löwengrip and Paul Sundvik met during a boat trip in the Stockholm archipelago and sparks arose, something they have told about in the TV program “Together with Strömstedts”.

– It was love at first sight. I quickly felt that this is a person I don’t want to be without in my life, said Isabella Löwengrip.

They got engaged in 2024 and we have told Isabella Löwengrip several times about their future plans regarding weddings.

“We talked about marriage. Paul and I haven’t been at all busy planning, even though I want to get married. I’ve kind of been waiting for the desire for a wedding to come. And now the wedding jitters are starting! Super fun,” she wrote on her blog last fall.

Distance relationship

However, separation rumors have been rife for some time now. When Aftonbladet did a big interview with Isabella Löwengrip earlier this year, she commented on the fact that Paul Sundvik has not been in Sweden for a long time and instead stayed abroad, and that many people considered it to mean that they now had a long-distance relationship.

– Yes, it has become a bit like that. Paul does not enjoy being in Sweden. He did not grow up in Sweden and has never had his base here. But he has had to give up a little on his plans in life since he met me. Paul is a bit torn between the life he wants and the life he has here. So we have made a solution. He is away a lot and now he only comes home in June.

At the same time, Isabella Löwengrip said she was comfortable with the solution.

– I am so extremely independent and have so much to do, so it works quite well for us. Then, of course, we talk every day and we are so stable in our relationship.

However, she admitted that the longing could sometimes become overwhelming.

– Yes, that’s clear. But then I go over to him. Since January, we have seen each other almost every four weeks and then we have super quality time. Paul is truly my soulmate. I don’t think he will go on like this forever but right now it suits him to be away a lot.

“Chosen a freer life”

Isabella Löwengrip has since married Odd Spångberg the children Odd and Sally, who were born in 2013 and 2015 respectively. During the relationship with Paul Sundvik, who, however, has no children, she has opened up about the plans to start a family on a few occasions, but during the interview with Aftonbladet, the child plans were suddenly put on the shelf.

– We have chosen a freer life instead. It feels good and I have had two children before and have had them every two weeks since they were one and three. Now this is probably going to be a controversial thing to say, but I have a very hard time seeing myself having children full time. I’m so used to my free life and want to be able to travel freely and just pick the icing on the cake.
