MEXICO CITY. Jordan Henderson, 36, celebrated England’s World Cup promotion.

In connection with that, he fell badly and had to leave the field on a stretcher with oxygen.

– He is in hospital, confirms national team captain Thomas Tuchel.

The round of 16 against Mexico was crazy and the aftermath was also dramatic.

When England celebrated The 3–2 victory with the English supporters, Jordan Henderson was injured.

The veteran midfielder, who sat on the bench for the entire match, fell while jumping over a billboard after singing along with the supporters.

“Don’t know what will happen”

Teammate Dan Burn was quickly there and called for medical help. Jordan Henderson was then carried out on a stretcher with oxygen.

– He was injured, but I don’t really know how things have gone with him. We wish him a speedy recovery, says Dan Burn.

Thomas Tuchel confirms that Henderson has been taken to hospital.

– It does not fit into the evening that Jordan is not here now. I don’t know what will happen, adds the national team captain.

“Supporting him”

Two-goal scorer Jude Bellingham also commented on the unfortunate injury after the game.

– He’s been hurt, but our medical team has the situation under control, says Bellingham.

– It’s probably best that I don’t say much more. We are there to support him.

Jordan Henderson, who previously captained Liverpool, will play in Brentford from 2025. He has made an appearance in the World Cup, in the third group stage match against Panama.
