President Donald Trump reveals in a children’s podcast that he usually reads about himself in newspapers instead of reading books.
In Friday’s podcast “Storytime with the second lady” with the vice president’s wife Usha Vance, the president also took the opportunity to comment on his predecessors.
President Trump then read from the children’s book “Presidents play!” about presidents who engage in sports.
There, among other things, former president Barack Obama is depicted as playing basketball. Trump said he doubted Obama was a good basketball player.
He also described John F Kennedy as “the second best looking president” but left it unsaid who he considered the best looking.
When asked what Trump himself reads for pleasure, he replied that it is mostly newspapers:
– I usually read about myself.
