Georgia Stanway, 27, left Bayern Munich after the season.
Now the English midfielder is ready for Arsenal.

It was four years in Germany, including eight trophies with Bayern Munich, before Georgia Stanway felt it was time to return home.
The choice fell on Arsenal, who finished second in the league last season. Four points behind the midfielder’s former club, Manchester City.
– This is a huge club that is pushing women’s football forward to new levels and I want to be part of it, says Stanway in a press release.
“Want to win”
She thus becomes teammates with Stina Blackstenius and Smilla Holmberg.
“I want to win trophies and grow as a player and this is the right place for me to do that with the backing of a fantastic supporter base,” added Stanway.
Arsenal’s Swedish-speaking coach, Renée Slegers, is pleased with the signing.
– Georgia will add a new dimension to our midfield and contribute with experience and winning mentality, says Slegers.
