SVT’s meteorologist Per Stenborg is to quit after 32 years at the public service company.

He tells Expressen that.

The decision came after he took an offer of voluntary resignation in connection with SVT’s cutbacks, which meant savings of SEK 355 million, which included a cut of around 140 positions.

What awaits him next is unclear.

– No idea. It’s not like I have clear plans, but we’ll see. It’s a long way until the end of the year, so I intend to take the summer to take it easy. And then I have to start thinking about the future this autumn instead, says Per Stenborg to the newspaper.
