Filip Hammar is preparing for a wedding this autumn with his Agnes Lindström Bolmgren.
But they have actually been married for over five years.
– It was just pure practicality, says Hammar to Expressen.
It has been known for a while that the couple will get married. The idea is that the wedding will be in Berlin in September with several hundred guests – one of them Björn Borg.
Earlier this year, Filip Hammar talked about the wedding plans in an interview with Aftonbladetin connection with his going on tour with radar partner Fredrik Wikingsson. He also had to put pluses on life – where future plans were maxed out with five pluses.
– I’m going to have a wedding. I’m going on tour. We are working on a documentary about Björn Borg. I have some other stuff. Then it’s summer vacation with the kids. The absolute nearest future is great, he said then.
Love life was also at its peak. He described himself and his love Agnes as a “damn great match” and when asked when the wedding will take place, he answered:
– I hope it will be at the end of the year.
“Pure practicality”
Now, however, it appears that the couple had actually been married for over five years. According to information from the Swedish Tax Agency, the couple married in the United States on April 19, 2021, reports The Express.
– Yes, but it wasn’t a wedding, so to speak. That 2021 was because we wanted to be married, it wasn’t a wedding. It was just pure practicality, he tells the newspaper.
The reason, he explains, was that in the US it is easier to be married and they were advised to do so.
In order to be registered as married in Sweden, it is required that you make a so-called at the Tax Agency. This was unfortunately rejected with reference to the fact that they are already married in the USA. Now the couple must submit a marriage certificate to the Swedish Tax Agency in order to finally get married here as well.
