The opposition is critical of Svea Vaccin being allowed to continue

Two and a half years after 200 seconds revealed serious flaws in, among other things, hygiene and the handling of vaccines, Svea Vaccin continues to give syringes to people.
Now the opposition reacts.
– I think it is outrageous that Svea Vaccin is allowed to continue with its business unchanged, says Lena Hallengren (S).
– It must be possible to urgently close a business that does not work and that is dangerous for patients, says Karin Rågsjö (V).
Svea vaccine – it has happened
Lena Hallengren was responsible for IVO when she was Minister of Social Affairs between 2019 and 2022,
– We must be able to trust that IVO does its job – and also has the conditions to do its job.
What do you want to say to the government and to Elisabet Lann who is the responsible minister?
– People have known about this for quite some time. Almost two and a half years have passed and I don’t know what Elisabet Lann has done and what she intends to do. It is a serious situation and it actually requires a response from Sweden’s government.
How would you have acted differently?
– As a government, it is important to ensure that the authority has the resources and muscle to be able to do a sufficiently good job. Here it is clear that the government has not given it to them. Now the ball is in the government’s hands to deal with this situation.
– No one should have to read the news and worry about whether it is Smallpox Vaccine who have vaccinated myself or my children and possibly with a risk as a result.
– It is serious that we have a market that is not kept up to date and that players who do not behave are allowed to remain. There must be law and order, structure, control, sanctions and immediate sanctions for those who do not behave. It is very important to be able to feel safe as a citizen and patient, says Lena Hallengren.
“Not up to the task”
Karin Rågsjö, the Left Party’s healthcare policy spokesperson, thinks that Svea Vaccin should be forced to close immediately.
– It is obvious that they are not up to their task. Vaccine is not a sausage stand, it just has to work. As a patient, you should know that the vaccine you receive has not been kept in a warm refrigerator.
– This is a matter of fact and badly managed by all parties. It must be possible to urgently close a business that does not work and is dangerous to patients. I demand that Health Care Minister Elisabet Lann act as quickly as she can, that she not just put all the responsibility on IVO, says Karin Rågsjö.
