UP SALE. Now it’s completely over.
It was emotional when Felicia Schröder, 19, took part in her last match with Häcken.
– We have so much fun together and that’s what hurts the most, she says.
Felicia Schröder was in the squad but did not play a minute in Häcken’s 3–2 victory against IK Uppsala.
But after the final whistle, she walked around the pitch with tears in her eyes. Schröder hugged her teammates and she – as well as a seemingly inconsolable Monica Jusu Bah – joined in a long embrace.
For now, it’s over for the big star of the women’s league, who is moving to Real Madrid.
– There were many tears. We both know what we mean to each other and it is incredibly hard to leave her, says Schröder.

Lifts the community
Schröder signed an A-team contract with Häcken in the spring of 2023. Three years, 91 goals and 120 games later, she stands and will try to summarize a time that she will carry with her for the rest of her life.
It’s mixed feelings for her, but she mentions the word “difficult” several times.
– The community we have is incredible. It is difficult to put into words how much it means. It will be hard to watch them on TV. We have so much fun together and that’s what hurts the most.

– Yes, I will. Rock hard!
How does it feel to move to Real Madrid?
– I have a lot of memories here. That is why it has been a difficult decision, as I have enjoyed myself so much here. We’ve been through so much together but I want to take the next step in my career, so it felt right.
She is sold to Real Madrid for a world record sum on the women’s side. According to Sportbladet’s information, the sum is over SEK 15 million.
– Nothing I think about really. Women’s soccer is moving forward and it’s fun to be part of that journey.
“Can be developed more”
Häcken won 3–2 away to IK Uppsala, but Schröder did not play a minute. It had already been decided in view of the imminent transition.
Now she arrives safe and sound in the Spanish capital, more than ready to take new steps in her soccer career.
– I can develop even more as a player and as a person. When they told me their plan, there was a lot that matched the goals I want to achieve.
