The Spanish club Barcelona announced in an official statement, today, Tuesday, that it has signed a contract with the young Egyptian striker, Hamza Abdel Karim, on a three-year contract, in a move that confirms the Catalan club’s confidence in the player’s abilities and his promising future.
The club explained that the 18-year-old striker will become a permanent player in the team’s ranks, after the clause to buy his contract from Al-Ahly club was activated, to permanently join the club’s sports project.

Hamza Abdel Karim initially moved to Barcelona on loan during the last winter transfer period, coming from Al-Ahly club, with a clause allowing the Spanish club to buy his contract at the end of the season.

During his loan period, the player succeeded in clearly demonstrating his offensive capabilities, as he scored 6 goals in 11 matches with the under-19 team, which strengthened the club management’s conviction of the necessity of keeping him permanently.
The club’s official statement confirmed that the final contract decision came after careful monitoring of his technical level and rapid development since joining the team.
