Six people have been killed and several injured in Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv in Ukraine on Saturday, writes The Kyiv Independent.
At least five people have been killed and ten wounded in a Russian attack on the city of Zaporizhzhya in southern Ukraine, according to the region’s governor, Ivan Fedorov.
Russia fired nine glide bombs that hit residential areas bordering the city, according to the governor, who warned of more airstrikes against the area during the evening.
Ukraine’s second largest city Kharkiv was attacked earlier on Saturday. At least one person was killed and nine were injured in the airstrikes there, according to local authorities, AP reports.
On Friday evening, a man was killed in Kharkiv after a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle.
