Switzerland produced a stunning late surge to beat Bosnia & Herzegovina 4-1 in their FIFA World Cup 2026 Group B clash at SoFi Stadium on Thursday. After being frustrated for more than 70 minutes by Bosnia’s disciplined defensive setup, the Swiss exploded into life following a series of substitutions, scoring four goals and ending Bosnia’s nine-match unbeaten run.
Switzerland scored four times in the final 23 minutes with substitute Johan Manzambi breaking the deadlock in the 74th minute and later added a second. Fellow substitute Rubén Vargas also found the net. Bosnia briefly reduced the deficit through Ermin Mahmić’s stoppage-time screamer before Granit Xhaka converted a late penalty to complete the scoring and end Bosnia’s nine-match unbeaten run.
