Murder suspect Luigi Mangione’s lawyers have referred this week that he would have had “extreme emotional disturbances” when United Healthcare’s CEO was shot dead, in New York in 2024.
Now the defense is reversing course, announcing that it will no longer pursue a defense tactic based on claims that Mangione suffered from the disorders at the time of the incident.
The murder of the insurance company’s CEO – Brian Thompson – has received a lot of attention.
