Two actors, two artists and a back profile.
Five new stars will soon take their place in the castle.
Here is the full list of the participants in “Stars at the Castle”.
The five stars gather at Wiks Slott outside Uppsala to share their life journeys, decisive path choices and personal stories.
– It’s a fantastic group of people. I don’t think we’ve ever had a group that laughed and cried so much. What happens when people of such different ages, backgrounds and experiences sit down and really listen to each other is magical. The conversations will be surprising, funny and deeply touching. The viewers get to get close to the participants in a very special way, says Clara Mannheimerexecutive producer, in a press release.
The recordings have just finished and the season will be broadcast on SVT this winter.
Lena Olin, 71, actor
Lena Olin is one of Sweden’s biggest international actors.
She had her breakthrough in Hollywood with the film “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” and was nominated for an Oscar for her role in “Enemies, A Love Story”.
– I’m so happy that I’m in. We’ve laughed incredibly much and then you got fired up because we got so many sweets. We were like children at a children’s party, says Olin to Aftonbladet.
Kikki Danielsson, 74, artist
In addition to popular artist with the super hits “Papaya Coconut” and “Goodmorgon”, is Kikki Danielsson ten-time Melodifestivalen participant. She has also won the competition twice: in 1982 with “Day after Day” and in 1985 with “Good Vibrations”. With a long career in both dance bands, schlager and country, she has written herself into Swedish music history.
– It feels great to be here! I know everyone in the gang, but maybe I’m most curious about the one who bakes such fantastic cakes. I am very interested in cookies!, she says in a press release.
Camilla Hamid, 34, back profile
The back profile and the entrepreneur Camilla Hamid became famous through the baking blog “My Kitchen Stories”. She has published several popular cookbooks and runs the café concept “Sweets by Camilla”.
Since last year, Hamid has been a jury member in both the regular and celebrity edition of TV4’s “Hela Sverige bakar”.
– I actually wondered if they had made the wrong call when I received the request for participation! Kikki and Lena are legends! It feels a bit unreal to be here with a lot of fun in every way, says Camilla Hamid in the press release.
Pa Modou Badjie, 43, artist
Badge is known from the group Panetoz and has also appeared in SVT’s “Shaolin Heroes” and TV4’s “Elitstyrkan’s hemlighe VIP”.
– I barely know any of them, to be honest. I want this journey to bloom in a natural way out of curiosity and chose not to google the history of all the participants beforehand. But I know Camilla’s cakes, I’ve tried them!, he says.
Peter Dalle, 69, actor and comedian
Valley is one of Swedish entertainment’s most significant creators, who had his big breakthrough with the comedy series “Lorry” and the cult film “Yrrol”. He has had a long career in Swedish film and TV, both in front of and behind the camera.
