The Pakistani Prime Minister indicated that his country is registering its presence in the largest football event through the sports equipment manufacturing sector, which is one of the most prominent national industries and the most famous at the international level. He explained that the official matches balls, which bear the name “Trionda”, were manufactured in Pakistan and reflect the level of skill, precision and craftsmanship enjoyed by those working in this field.
He added that Pakistan’s contribution in providing the balls used during the tournament represents a source of pride for the country, and highlights the position that Pakistani sports industries have gained in global markets over decades.
At the conclusion of his message, Sharif expressed his hope that the 2026 World Cup competitions would contribute to enhancing the values of friendship, rapprochement and unity among peoples, and that the tournament would be an occasion to celebrate sporting excellence and the competitive spirit that brings together various nations around the world.
