There will be a tribute weekend to Cornelis Vreeswijk’s memory again this year.
On September 11–12, a large gathering of artists gathers at Cirkus in Stockholm to interpret his music.
Among the artists are Tommy KörbergLisa Nilsson, Siw MalmkvistTensta Gospel Choir, David Ritschard as well as Cornelis’ grandson Olle Vreeswijk.
The weekend ends with the Cornelis Prize being awarded to an artist and/or songwriter who works in the spirit of Cornelis. The award winner’s name will be announced at the beginning of September.
The tickets go on sale on June 12.
