Five people have been killed in Russian attacks in the Ukrainian region of Kherson on Friday, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said, according to Reuters.
Prokudin states that three people in their 70s and 80s were killed in an attack on the city of Kherson. One person was killed and seven injured in an attack on a gas station north of the city, and a man was killed in a drone attack on a village.
Parts of the Kherson region are under Russian control, while others are controlled by Ukraine.
In the Russian region of Belgorod, a Ukrainian drone reportedly hit a car, killing the driver, according to local officials.
Both Russia and Ukraine deny deliberately targeting civilians in the war.
