A doctor who was prosecuted after a patient died after an abdominoplasty operation is also sentenced by the Court of Appeal to two years in prison.
In March 2023, the doctor at a private clinic put a 49-year-old woman to sleep before the operation. She then suffered a lack of oxygen and cardiac arrest and died two days later.
The doctor committed several errors during the plastic surgery, writes the Court of Appeal for Skåne and Blekinge in a press release.
