A new documentary about one of Sweden’s most popular artists is coming to cinemas this summer.
August 21 is the premiere of “Carola!”.
The film is directed by My Sandström who have gained access to “unique material” from the artist himself.
“This feels edgy and big. I’m happy that my life’s journey is now documented in an inclusive and grounded way,” says Carol in a press release.
On September 8, Carola turns 60 and this year it is 43 years since she broke through with a bang with the song “Främling” which won the Melodifestivalen in 1983.
