Björn Ulvaeus would not have hesitated to use AI as a tool in the creative process if he had been a young composer today.
He said this in connection with a meeting of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers, where he is chairman.
– AI will not replace humans. We will lift it to something new, although it is true that many jobs will be lost, said Ulvaeus to the Spanish news agency EFE.
However, copyright must be respected, according to Ulvaeus and according to him, there is still no country that can be held up as a model for just that.
– They are afraid to regulate because at the same time they want technology companies to invest in their countries, he said.
