Young Spanish player Drew Fernandez, a Paris Saint-Germain player, concluded the 2025-2026 season in an exceptional way, in which he won 4 titles with two different clubs, despite appearing in a small number of matches.
Drew (18 years old) started the recently ended season as a Barcelona player, before moving last January to Paris Saint-Germain, in a deal amounting to 8.2 million euros (about 8.9 million dollars).

Drew writes history
Drew participated with Barcelona in 4 matches in the Spanish League against Real Sociedad, Elche, Athletic Bilbao, and Atletico Madrid, and one in the Champions League against Olympiacos in the third round of the league stage.
The number of minutes that Drew participated in with Barcelona reached 89 minutes in his 4 La Liga matches, in addition to another 59 in the continental championship.

Drew did not participate in any minute in Barcelona’s two matches in the Spanish Super Cup against Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid, respectively, but he was part of the Catalan team delegation that traveled to Saudi Arabia and was on the bench.
Drew gained the trust of German coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona coach, who summoned him for 19 official matches, which explains the coach’s sadness when the player made the decision to leave the club to start a new adventure with Paris Saint-Germain, according to what the Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported.
Drew received more playing minutes after moving to Paris Saint-Germain on January 26, 2026, as coach Luis Enrique played him in 12 French League matches for 682 minutes.
But the reality did not change much in the Champions League, as Drew played one match, which was against Monaco in the second leg of the knockout stage, in which his feet touched the field for only 3 minutes.
Drew’s total of minutes in the ending season amounted to 833 minutes, but the most important thing was that he won 4 major titles in his first professional season.
The 4 titles that Drew achieved in his first professional season 2025-2026:
- Spanish Super Cup with Barcelona.
- Spanish League with Barcelona.
- French League with Paris Saint-Germain.
- Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.
The newspaper concluded by saying: “Although Drew is still in the first steps of his career, his start in the elite world was very impressive. In the space of a few months, he achieved 4 titles with two of the most important clubs in Europe, which is a message of self-introduction that cannot be described.”
