Several artists cancel their participation in a large music festival initiated by Donald Trump in Washington June 25 – July 10.
Martina McBride is the biggest name to skip the festival organized to celebrate 250 years since the United States declared its independence. She says she was given assurances that the event would be non-political.
“But yesterday there was a change and we have been told that it is not, in fact, like that,” writes the country star in social media.
Also Young MC, Morris Day and the Commodores cancel. Some of the big names that will, however, be at the festival are Flo Rida, Vanilla Ice and Milli Vanilli.
– I am here to entertain and unite people, not to create division, says Fab Morvan in Milli Vanilli to The Guardian.
