Swedish anxiety before the World Cup qualifiers.

Felicia Schröder, 19, was replaced injured for Häcken.

A tackle in the air took a toll on the attacking star.

The first half was coming to an end when Felicia Schroeder nasty fell to the ground in the penalty area.

A solid push from Kristianstad defender Courtney Ruedt hurt Häcken’s shooting queen, who was in the middle of the air.

– Very unnecessary, says SVT’s expert commentator Hanna Marklund.

Schröder took the back end and looked like she was in a lot of pain as she left the pitch.

When the teams came out for the second half, Schröder was replaced and remained in the dressing room. She then came out to the substitutes’ bench a few minutes into the half.

World Cup qualifiers await

On June 5 and 9, Sweden’s women’s national team plays decisive World Cup qualifying matches away against Denmark and at home against Italy. Two victories give a direct place to the championship in Brazil next summer.

It remains to be seen whether Schröder will be available for the matches or not.

Häcken received a penalty in connection with Schröder’s injury and scored on the return. The Hisings team leads at the time of writing with 3-0 away to KDFF.
