A source at Nasser Hospital in the Gaza Strip reported that 3 Palestinians were killed and others were injured in a bombing by an Israeli drone on a security checkpoint in Mawasi Khan Yunis, south of the Strip, late Thursday-Friday night.
The Israeli occupation also bombed – tonight – several other sites in the besieged Palestinian Strip, as the Civil Defense announced that its crews were dealing with a fire that broke out in the tents of displaced persons following a raid on Mawasi al-Qarara in Khan Yunis.
Earlier, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that an Israeli raid targeted the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza Strip after it was evacuated of residents.
These attacks came on the second day of Eid al-Adha, after the first day witnessed intense night raids in the center of Gaza City, which resulted in the death of 10 Palestinians – including two children and two women – and the wounding of dozens.
The Israeli occupation continues to launch repeated attacks on the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreement in effect since October 10, 2025, two years after the Israeli war of annihilation.
In a new challenge to this agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced – yesterday, Thursday – that orders were issued to the army to expand the areas it controls in the Gaza Strip to 70% of the total area of the Strip.
