A woman and a girl were martyred today, Monday, and 20 others, most of them women and children, were injured in an Israeli air strike that targeted a camp for displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, while a press release issued today, Monday, by the government media office in Gaza warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in light of the continued siege and the prevention of aid.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted a medical source as saying that a 31-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were martyred, while 17 Palestinians were injured, according to a preliminary toll, as a result of an Israeli air strike that targeted Ghaith camp, which houses displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, while Anadolu Agency reported that the number of injured reached 20.
Continuous bombing
In a related context, yesterday morning, Sunday, a young man, his wife, and their infant child were martyred in an air strike carried out by an Israeli plane targeting a residential apartment in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis also told Anadolu Agency that a young man died as a result of his injuries as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted him west of the city a few days ago.

Humanitarian catastrophe
At the level of the humanitarian situation, a statement issued today, Monday, by the government media office in Gaza warned of a humanitarian catastrophe in light of the continued blockade and the prevention of the entry of aid, “which directly affects the lives of more than 2.4 million citizens who live in extremely harsh living and humanitarian conditions.”
