An explosion has occurred in Huddinge south of Stockholm during the night towards Monday.
– It is about an explosion next to a car, says Ida Abrahamsson, officer on duty at the police.
The alarm came in to the police around 02:30.
– It’s quite new and ongoing so we don’t know much about what happened yet. But it’s about property damage and no personal injuries, says Ida Abrahamsson about an hour after the alarm came in.
The case is being investigated as gross destruction of public danger and a violation of the Act on Explosive and Flammable Goods. The damage is said to be limited to the car.
According to the police, a person on an electric scooter was seen leaving the scene after the incident.
– We are on site and investigating. There is some sort of manhunt going on but no one has been caught.
