Tunisia’s national team coach, Sabri Lamouchi, announced a list of 26 players to compete in the FIFA World Cup, which begins next June in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The list witnessed the absence of some names that used to appear in the Tunisia jersey in various international forums in recent years, such as the Egyptian Al-Ahly midfielder Mohamed Ali bin Ramadan, whose participation with his team declined, in addition to the veteran left defender Ali Maaloul (36 years old), the CS Sfaxien player, and the Egyptian Zamalek striker Seif El-Din Al-Jaziri.

Esperance goalkeeper Bashir Ben Said will also be absent, as he suffers from an injury from which he may not recover before the start of the World Cup.

- Goalkeepers: Ayman Dahman – Sabri bin Hassan – Abdel Mohib Al-Shamekh.
- Defenders: Montaser Talbi – Adam Arous – Raed Al-Sheikhawi – Yan Valery – Moataz Al-Nafati – Ali Al-Abdi – Muhammad Amin Bin Hamida.
- Midfielders: Elias Al-Sakhiri – Muhammad Al-Hajj Mahmoud – Rani Khedira – Hannibal Al-Mujabri – Anis Bin Sulaiman – Mortada Bin Wanas – Ismail Al-Gharbi.
- Strikers: Khalil Al-Ayari – Sebastian Toncti – Elias Ashouri – Firas Shawat – Hazem Al-Masturi – Elias Saad – Rayan Al-Loumi.
The Tunisia national team plays in Group 6 of the World Cup, starting its campaign against Sweden on June 15, then facing Japan on June 21, and concluding the group stage by facing the Netherlands on June 26.
