The Asian Football Confederation nominated 10 players to compete for the Best Young Player Award in the AFC Elite Champions League this season 2025-2026, which Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia won for the second time in a row.

The list includes the Al-Ahly duo, Mohamed Abdel Rahman and Saleh Abu Al-Shamat, in addition to the Australian Melbourne City team duo, Max Caputo and Marcus Yunus, in addition to Arif Ayman, the Malaysian player of Johor Darul Ta’zim.

Also competing in the vote presented by the Asian Football Confederation via its official website to the fans are Serdorbek Bahramov, the Uzbek player for Nasaf, Ayoub Alavi, the Qatari player for Al-Gharafa, and Sovanat Muyanta, the Thai player for Buriram United, in addition to Mohammed Jumaa, the UAE’s Shabab Al-Ahly player, and his colleague Hamad Al-Muqbali, the team’s goalkeeper.

Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia won the largest Asian title at the club level with a 1-0 victory over Japan’s Machida after an extension to extra time in the final match that was held on April 25, 2026 at Al-Enmaa Stadium in Jeddah.
