Basketball player Brandon Clarke is dead.
He was 29 years old.
“We are heartbroken”the NBA club Memphis Grizzlies writes in a statement.
Clarke played 309 games over 7 seasons for the club. He was drafted as player number 21 in the 2019 draft.
“Brandon was an outstanding teammate and an even better person. His impact on the organization and the entire Memphis community will not be forgotten. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time,” writes the Grizzlies.
The cause of death is currently unclear.
