The police are on the scene at Lindholmspiren in Gothenburg after an alarm about a suspected dangerous object in the water.
– We have cordoned off the area to examine the object more closely, says police spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara.
National bomb shelters have been engaged.
– I don’t know at the moment if the bomb protection has personnel on site or if they are consulted remotely, says Isaksson Samara.
The alarm came in just after 5pm on Tuesday.
