As the relegation struggle intensified, Argentine Andrada lost his temper moments before the final whistle, ignoring the course of the match, as he approached Pulido and slapped him in the face with his right hand, which led to chaotic scenes 8 minutes after stoppage time.

Huesca coach Jose Luis did not try to justify these scenes. “It’s hard to explain; I think it reflects a complete loss of control,” he said. “I can put myself in their place, given the importance of the match and everything. But that can’t be justified. It’s just that I don’t know what to do to stop it; a fight broke out.”

He explained: “They are ugly scenes; this was supposed to be a celebration of football in Aragon. I would like people to talk about the match, even though it was ugly, with little play but a lot of hard work.”

With a goal scored by Oscar Silva, Huesca won 1-0, raising its score to 36 points in 19th place, while Zaragoza remains in 21st place and penultimate with 35 points.
