Four Palestinians, including a child, were martyred at dawn today, Sunday, in a series of attacks launched by the Israeli occupation forces through artillery shelling and shooting, targeting various areas in the southern and central Gaza Strip.

Anatolia Agency reported – citing medical sources in the Al-Shifa Complex, west of Gaza City – that the bodies of two Palestinians arrived following the bombing of an Israeli drone, which targeted a motorcycle near the Kuwait Roundabout on Salah al-Din Street, southeast of the city.

The sources said that a third Palestinian was killed by Israeli army gunfire in the Al-Mughraqa area in the central Gaza Strip, while a 14-year-old child died from wounds he sustained in an Israeli bombing that targeted the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, on Saturday evening.

Violation of the ceasefire

In conjunction with the shooting from military vehicles, the Israeli army fired shells east of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, according to eyewitnesses.

In the center of the Gaza Strip, the eastern areas of the Bureij camp were subjected to artillery shelling simultaneously with intense gunfire from Israeli helicopters.

Israeli artillery also bombed the eastern parts of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and gunboats fired shells towards the city’s coast.

The government media office in Gaza reported that Israel committed 2,400 violations of the ceasefire agreement, including killing, arrest, siege, and starvation.

The continued violations of the agreement resulted in the death of 972 Palestinians and the injury of 2,235, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.

These violations continue despite reaching the agreement, two years after a genocidal war that Israel began on October 8, 2023, with American support, and continued later in various forms, leaving more than 72,000 martyrs and about 172,000 injured, and massive destruction that affected 90% of the civilian infrastructure.

While Israel continues to occupy more than 50% of the Gaza Strip, hundreds of thousands of displaced people live in tents, schools, shelter centers and open areas, after their homes were destroyed as a result of the Israeli war, amid harsh humanitarian and living conditions.
