Bayern Munich celebrated winning the German Football League title for the 35th time in its history, with an exciting victory at Mainz Stadium 4-3 in the 31st round of the Bundesliga.
Bayern leads the standings with 82 points and has scored 113 goals to increase its record, compared to 32 goals it has conceded.

Bayern Munich overturned a 3-0 deficit with a dramatic and exciting 4-3 win over Mainz in the match held at the Miwa Arena. The Bavarian team returned with an exciting victory after being close to suffering a severe defeat in light of coach Vincent Kompany rotating his squad before facing Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League semi-finals.
Mainz started the match strongly, taking advantage of the changes in the ranks of the visitors. Dominique Cor opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a powerful shot following a corner kick, then Paul Nebel added the second goal in the 29th minute after taking advantage of a rebound from goalkeeper Jonas Orbig. In the last ten minutes, the Bavarian “Remontada” was completed; Jamal Musiala succeeded in scoring the equalizer in the 80th minute, before English sniper Harry Kane concluded the festival by scoring the precious winning goal in the 83rd minute, giving his team 3 valuable points after one of the most exciting matches of the current season.
Bayer Leverkusen to fifth place
Bayer Leverkusen beat host Cologne 2-1 to jump to fifth place with 55 points, one point behind Stuttgart and one point ahead of Hoffenheim.
Leverkusen owes this victory to Czech striker Patrik Cech, who scored both of his team’s goals, with the first goal coming from a penalty kick in the 43rd minute, before the same player returned and added the second goal in the 52nd minute.
In the last minutes of the match, the Cologne club tried to recover the result, and German striker Luca Waldschmidt succeeded in reducing the difference by scoring his team’s only goal in the 77th minute.
Heidenheim, the bottom team in the standings, got a glimmer of hope to remain in the top flight by defeating St. Pauli with two goals scored by Bodo Zivzevadze and Eren Denkci.
Heidenheim raised its score to 22 points in last place, four points behind third place from the bottom, which qualifies its owner to participate in the promotion and relegation play-off for the Bundesliga against the third-place team in the second division.
Heidenheim is three points behind the penultimate place, Wolfsburg, which drew 0-0 with its guest, Gladbach.
Augsburg also tied with Eintracht Frankfurt with a similar goal, as Anton Kade scored for the hosts and Rizzo Doan equalized for Frankfurt.
Frankfurt raised its score to 43 points in seventh place, six points behind Augsburg, which is in ninth place.
