After an upswing at the end of last week, the Stockholm stock exchange retreated again on Monday morning.
The drop comes after a weekend of failed peace talks and a threat to block the Strait of Hormuz from US President Donald Trump.
Shortly after trading opened at 09, the large company index was at minus one percent.
At the same time, the price of oil is rising by nearly seven percent, TT reports.
European gas prices are also rising by around eight percent.
