The Israeli army bombed several towns in southern Lebanon, and blew up residential squares and facilities in the cities of Bint Jbeil and Khiam, coinciding with its announcement of the continued stationing of its forces in Lebanese sites in the south.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health said that 4 people were martyred today, Saturday, in two Israeli raids on the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif, in the south of the country.
The Israeli occupation army warned residents against approaching specific areas in southern Lebanon, including the Litani River and the Salhani and Saluki valleys.
The Al Jazeera correspondent said that an Israeli drone launched a raid on the town of Yahmar al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon, and Israeli artillery bombed the town of Hula, located on the southern border of Lebanon.
Al Jazeera’s correspondent also reported that, today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces blew up buildings in the city of Bint Jbeil, and also blew up residential squares and facilities in the city of Khiam.

Continuing Israeli violations of the truce
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced earlier that 6 people were killed as a result of the Israeli raids on southern Lebanon yesterday, Friday, as the Israeli attacks on Lebanon continued despite the truce that was recently extended for 3 weeks.
In turn, Hezbollah announced, in statements on Friday, that it had carried out five drone attacks on Israeli targets in southern Lebanon, which included targeting two military vehicles, one of them a Hummer, a gathering of soldiers in the town of Qantara, and an armored personnel carrier in the town of Ramieh, with “confirmed casualties achieved.”
Politically, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun affirmed his country’s refusal to be a negotiating card in regional conflicts, stressing that Lebanon is negotiating in its name in defense of its interests. In contrast, the head of the Hezbollah parliamentary bloc, Muhammad Raad, called on the Lebanese authority to withdraw from what were called direct negotiations.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel had begun a path to achieve historic peace with Lebanon, accusing Hezbollah of trying to obstruct that. Israeli Channel 15 also quoted a source that the army recommended the political staff to expand attacks in Lebanon.
