It was on Sunday that lightning struck Tosselilla summer land in Tomelilla. Several were injured and four people were taken to hospital by ambulance.
A total of seven people in a family have been struck by lightning and four of them are still being treated in hospital, Sydsvenskan reports. One of them is a two-year-old boy.
– It sounded like a bomb, a loud bang and everything went completely white. I didn’t see anything, but I could feel my whole back, my right arm and my right leg where I had a wound, the boy’s mother told the newspaper.
The boy’s heart is checked by the doctors and he has pain in the neck and in the back of the head. The boy’s grandmother is also among the injured.
– It was my mother who was injured the most – in the head, in the arm, in the back and in the leg. She was struck by lightning right in the eye, says the two-year-old’s mother.
