A restaurant in Stuttgart launched a unique initiative, following the brilliance of striker Deniz Undav with the German national team in the current edition of the 2026 World Cup.
Undav is the top scorer in the “Mannachts” in the World Cup, scoring 3 goals, including a brace that gave his team a 2-1 victory over Côte d’Ivoire in the last round, qualifying for the knockout rounds for the first time since winning the title in 2014, after securing the top spot in Group Five.

Free meals
A restaurant located near Lake Fürsee, west of Stuttgart, announced that it will offer its visitors a free doner kebab meal with every goal scored by Undaf in the next match against Ecuador.
Restaurant officials advised anyone wishing to attend the match scheduled for next Thursday to book in advance, given the possibility of a large turnout.
The aforementioned restaurant has allocated its backyard, which can accommodate approximately 40 people, in order to watch the match, and a large screen will be installed in it to accommodate the number of attendees.
Restaurant manager Serdar Oguz said, “If one of our visitors has already paid for his meal and Undav then scores a goal, he will get a free doner meal.”
The German newspaper Stuttgarter Zeitung commented on this initiative by saying, “UNDF can make the fans happy twice, the first by scoring goals and the second by giving those fans a free meal.”
Regular customer
She explained that Undav, 29 years old, is a regular customer of that restaurant, and often takes his teammates in the Stuttgart club there.
She added, “The restaurant found the Ecuador match a sufficient occasion for its employees to celebrate their star and regular customer.”
One of the restaurant workers said, “We are looking forward to this match (against Ecuador). We support UNDF and the German national team, and we hope, of course, that they reach the final, and that they will visit us again after the tournament.”
At the same time, the newspaper confirmed that the restaurant is planning more initiatives, if the German team continues its journey in the tournament and Undaf scores other goals.
